Hasnaa is a Counselor, Career Guidance Advisor, Certified NLP Practitioner, Yoga Laughter Leader, Wellbeing and Mental Health Trainer, and Child Protection Advocate. Hasnaa holds a Master’s degree in School Counseling from the Lebanese University. She is currently occupying the position of Director of SAWA Counseling Unit at Al Makassed that was established in 2019 as a result of her insightful vision of developing a school counseling and career guidance program at Al Makassed schools. She is also a school counselor for middle and secondary who prepares students socially, academically, and emotionally for present and future challenges. Her passion is working with individuals and ensuring that everyone receives equal opportunities to succeed. She is a very caring individual and she has always been there to support those around her in their time of need.

Hasnaa worked in the academic field for 17 years. She was a former elementary math teacher, math coordinator, and international coordinator at British Council for the connecting classroom program, principal’s assistance, and head of elementary level. She is a Microsoft Certified Educators for Technology Literacy, Microsoft Innovative Educator, and a Microsoft Office Specialist.

Hasnaa is a Member in Makassed Training Team and she has an active participation on the external and internal levels.
She delivered a Psychosocial training over 10 days for 95 principals, coordinators, and counselors from the Ministry of Education in Iraq – Erbil in 2021.
Every year, Hasnaa conducts at least three training sessions for Makassed Employees in Beirut and rural schools covering topics related to mental health, self-care, mindset, emotional intelligence, work-life Balance, Stress management, and others. Her sessions are always fully booked and employees look forward attending them.
In addition to her participation in Makassed Conference and E-conference where she always highlights on the importance of promoting wellbeing and seek a balanced, productive, and happy life.
Not to mention, her debriefing sessions, individual, and group counseling sessions for teachers and staff where she uses counseling methods to help them manage and overcome mental and emotional issues.
